Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have a BDS or equivalent degree from a medical college or institution recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
- A valid Registration Certificate under the Dentist Act, 1948 is mandatory.
- Candidates holding degrees from foreign universities must have the required Conversion Certificates recognized by the DCI.
- Additional Requirements
- Completion certificate of Houseman-ship/Internship.
- Screening test certificate from the National Board of Examinations (for candidates with foreign degrees).
- Odia language test pass certificate, or the candidate must pass the required Odia examination within four years of joining the service.
- Odia Language Requirement
- Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak Odia, and must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject; OR
- Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as the medium of instruction in a non-language subject; OR
- Passed Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class VII or above; OR
- Passed an Odia language test at the Middle English School level conducted by the School and Mass Education Department.
