Eligibility Criteria
- Artisan Trainee (Fitter): 10th pass + full‑time regular ITI in Fitter trade.
- Artisan Trainee (Instrument Mechanic): 10th pass + full‑time regular ITI in Instrument Mechanic / Electronics trade.
- Assistant (Material/Storekeeper) Trainee:
- Full‑time regular NCTVT (Storekeeping) course, or
- 10th pass + ITI (Fitter / Electrician / Electronics / Instrument Mechanic) + English typing 30 wpm or 150 key depressions per minute.
- All courses must be approved by NCVT/SCVT/NCTVT.
- Medical Fitness:
- Candidate must be medically fit as per NTPC medical norms and must clear medical examination by NTPC Medical Board.
- Other Conditions:
- Candidates from SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS/PwBD/Ex‑servicemen categories get reservation and relaxation as per Government directives.
- Candidates working in Govt/PSU must produce NOC at the time of skill test.
