SECL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 out for 1600 Posts
South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), a Mini Ratna company and a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has announced the SECL Graduate & Technician Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27. A total of 1600 apprenticeship positions are available for Graduate Apprentices and Technician Apprentices across various engineering and general streams under the Apprentices Act, 1961. These training opportunities will be offered in SECL’s opencast and underground mines, as well as other establishments.
To be eligible, candidates must have completed a 4-year or 3-year degree for Graduate Apprenticeship, or a 3-year diploma for Technician Apprenticeship in the relevant field through full-time regular mode. Applicants must also be registered on the NATS 2.0 portal and should be at least 18 years old as of 31 March 2026. Preference will be given to candidates from Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh (Level-1), followed by candidates from other states (Level-2).
The apprenticeship will be for a duration of one year. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹12,300 for Graduate Apprentices and ₹10,900 for Technician Apprentices, with 50% paid by SECL and the remaining 50% provided by the Government through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
