Eligibility Criteria
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) from the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), or any equivalent board recognized by the Government.
  • Language & Cultural Knowledge: Candidates should have a working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and familiarity with Rajasthan culture.
  • Final Year Students: Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination are eligible to apply, provided they complete the required qualification before the date of the Forester examination.
  • Ex-Servicemen: Ex-servicemen with 15 years of military service and holding a certificate equivalent to graduation may apply by entering ‘Not Applicable’ in the roll number field and selecting ‘N’ grade in the result.
  • Essential Citizenship Criteria
  • Candidates must fall under one of the following categories:
  • Indian citizen
  • Citizen of Nepal or Bhutan
  • Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
  • Person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries for permanent settlement in India
  • For categories (3) and (4) above, candidates must submit a valid eligibility certificate issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

  • Special Relaxation: An additional 3 years relaxation is granted to all candidates as Forester recruitment has not been conducted in the past 3 years.
  • Age Relaxation Details
  • SC/ST/OBC/MBC Male candidates (original residents of Rajasthan): 5 years
  • General Category Female candidates: 5 years
  • SC/ST/OBC/MBC Female candidates (original residents of Rajasthan): 10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: 15 years relaxation as per Rajasthan Civil Services (Absorption of Ex-Servicemen) Rules, 1988. However:
  • Upper age limit after relaxation will not exceed 50 years
  • In direct recruitment requiring lower post experience, maximum age limit is 55 years
  • NCC Cadet Instructors: Period of NCC service will be deducted from actual age, provided the resulting age does not exceed the prescribed maximum age by more than 3 years
  • Widows and Divorced Women: No age limit, subject to being below the retirement age fixed by the State Government
  • Emergency Commission Officers and Short Service Commission Officers: Considered within age limit even if they have crossed the prescribed age at the time of Selection Board
  • Persons who returned to India from Pakistan during 1971 India-Pakistan war: No age limit
  • Important: Age relaxations are non-cumulative. Candidates can avail only one provision for age relaxation.

Mode Of Selection 
Basis of Selection: Marks obtained in the Common Eligibility Test (Senior Secondary Level) 2024 conducted by Rajasthan Subordinate & Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSSB).
Written Examination:
Conducted offline using OMR sheets

Syllabus: Questions will cover General Knowledge, Social Studies, Geography, History, Art & Culture, Everyday Science, Mathematics, and Current Affairs with a focus on Rajasthan State, at the Senior Secondary Level.
Normalization: If the exam is conducted in multiple shifts, a normalization process will be applied.
Physical Fitness Test: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a physical fitness test after the written exam.
Document Verification: Conducted for finally selected candidates.
Final Merit List: Prepared based on aggregate marks of the written examination and physical fitness test.

  • Male Candidates: Must complete a 25 km walk within 4 hours

General Information 
SSO Login: Candidates must log in through the SSO Portal at http://sso.rajasthan.gov.in and select Recruitment Portal from Citizen Apps (G2C).
One-Time Registration (OTR):
If the OTR fee is not paid, candidates must first complete the OTR process by selecting category (UR/Reserved), disability status, and home state, and pay the prescribed fee.
After completing OTR, candidates can apply using their SSO ID by entering their CET (Senior Secondary) 2024 online application number.
The system will verify the CET 2024 application number and SSO ID before opening the application form.
Application Form & Documents:
RSSB has updated the online form regarding educational qualifications and document upload process.
Candidates must carefully select their educational qualification in the OTR dashboard.
All educational documents must be uploaded in the Document Details section as per recruitment rules.
Candidates are solely responsible for the authenticity and correctness of their details. Incorrect or misleading information may lead to rejection and legal action under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Section 217.
Information entered in OTR will be displayed in the application form and cannot be modified.
Submission & SSO ID Use:
All other information must be filled carefully. Errors made by an E-Mitra operator will be considered the candidate’s responsibility.
After Final Submit, an online application number will be generated. Candidates must keep a printout for future reference.
Candidates must use their own SSO ID only; applications submitted from another SSO ID will not be accepted.
Preview of the form does not count as final submission. Only submitted applications by the prescribed date are valid. Offline applications will not be accepted.
Payment Guidelines:
Candidates must pay the one-time registration fee before the last date and verify pending transactions.
Use only the official SSO portal; no other portal or facility is valid.
Communication:
Candidates must register their own mobile number and email ID and not change them until the completion of the appointment process.
Important updates will be sent only to the registered mobile number and email ID.
Examination Instructions:
Dress code prescribed by the Board must be followed.
Prohibited items: Mobile phones, purses, electronic gadgets.
Allowed items: Transparent blue pen, one recent photograph (2.5×2.5 cm, not older than 1 month), original photo ID, and e-admit card.
Confiscated items will not be the responsibility of the Board or Center Superintendent.
Other Important Notes:

The Board reserves the right to modify the advertised number of posts before the result.
