A total of 133 vacancies have been announced for Graduate, Diploma, and ITI candidates under the AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026.
Candidates aged 18 to 26 years with a Graduate or Diploma in Engineering or ITI in Computer Operator Programming Assistant (COPA) & Steno trades are eligible to apply for these vacancies.

Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality / Domicile: Only Indian Nationals who are domiciles of Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand are eligible.
- Qualification – Graduate / Diploma: Candidates must possess a full-time (regular) four-year degree or three-year (regular) diploma in Engineering in the above-mentioned streams, recognized by AICTE, Government of India.
- Qualification – ITI Trade: Candidates must possess an ITI/NCVT certificate in Computer Operator Programming Assistant (COPA) and Steno trades from institutions recognized by AICTE, Government of India.
- Year of Passing: Candidates who passed their degree/diploma in or after 2022 are eligible.
- Previous Apprenticeship: Candidates who have already completed or terminated their apprenticeship midway, or are currently pursuing apprenticeship in other organizations or in AAI with the same qualification level, are NOT eligible.
- Job Experience: Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training/job experience for a period of 1 year or more after attaining the essential qualification are NOT eligible.
- Candidates applying for more than one discipline will not be considered and their application will be rejected.
