- Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university.
- Experience: Eligible candidates include Accounts Officers or Deputy Accounts Officers of the Assam Accounts Service, Audit Officers of the Assam Local Fund Audit Service, and members of the Assam Treasury (Estt.) Service holding positions such as Superintendent, Accountant, or Senior Accounts Assistant.

How to Apply
Step 1: Application Fee
- Applicants must apply online only through the official APSC recruitment website. Applications submitted through any other mode will be rejected outright.
- Candidates who have not yet registered on the APSC Online Recruitment Portal must first visit https://apscrecruitment.in, click on ‘Register Here’, and complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process by providing the required details.
- Candidates are advised to register with a valid and active email address and mobile number.
- After creating an account, applicants must log in using their credentials.
- Once logged in, candidates can view all live advertisements of APSC in the ‘Apply Section’.
- Applicants should carefully read the eligibility criteria and other instructions before applying. Mandatory fields in the application form are marked with an asterisk (*).
- To apply, click on ‘Apply’ and complete the application form.
- Candidates must provide accurate document details (Certificate No., Issue Date, Issuing Authority) and upload supporting documents such as Date of Birth, Experience, Qualifications, etc., in PDF or JPEG format. The file size should not exceed 200 KB and should be clear enough for printing. It is recommended to scan documents at 200 dpi in grayscale.
- Document details submitted in the online form will be verified during the document verification stage.
- Applicants must upload a recent photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
- Carefully fill in all required information and check the declaration checkbox to enable the ‘Preview’ button before final submission.
- Verify all details before clicking ‘Submit’, as editing or cancellation after final submission will not be allowed. If corrections are needed, use the ‘Cancel’ button before submitting.
- After submission, the application fee and processing fee (if applicable) must be paid. Fees once paid will not be refunded.
- In case of payment failure, click ‘Validate Payment’ to check the transaction status. For double debit cases, the bank will refund the amount within 5-7 working days.
- On successful submission, an auto-generated confirmation email will be sent to the registered email ID.
- The application will be considered incomplete if the fee is not paid.
- Candidates without debit cards or internet banking can also apply via Common Service Centers (CSCs).
- After submitting the online application, take a printout of the final application and retain it for future reference.
- It is recommended to submit the online application well before the closing date to avoid last-minute issues.
