Eligibility Criteria

• Graduates or postgraduates from colleges/universities in Assam with honours in Botany, Zoology, or related fields in Ecology & Wildlife Sciences.
• Knowledge of plant taxonomy, flora and fauna identification, and ecosystem studies.
• Good communication skills in English and Assamese (both written and spoken).
• Experience in fieldwork, local market surveys, PRA exercises, or similar activities.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, etc.

• Interested eligible candidates, who are bonafide residents of Assam, may send the hard copy of their application in the prescribed format, along with self-attested supporting documents through an Institutional ‘Internship Supervisor’ forwarded by the Principal to the following address given below: The Member Secretary, Assam State Biodiversity Board, 2nd Floor, Aranya Bhawan, Panjabari, Guwahati – 781037.

Mode Of Selection

Only shortlisted candidates would be called for a Personal Interview.

General Information

A College/University may forward applications for a maximum of 15 students, along with an Internship Supervisor from the institution, through the Principal for this Internship Programme. The Internship Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring the work of the selected students and ensuring completion of the internship within one month. Interested and eligible candidates who are bonafide residents of Assam must submit a hard copy of the application in the prescribed format along with self-attested supporting documents. The application should be forwarded by the Principal through the Institutional Internship Supervisor to the following address: The Member Secretary Assam State Biodiversity Board 2nd Floor, Aranya Bhawan Panjabari, Guwahati – 781037 Applications sent via email will not be accepted. The Board will not be responsible for postal delays. Incomplete, illegible, or applications received after the prescribed deadline will not be considered.
