Eligibility Criteria
1. Block Technology Manager (BTM)
- Qualification: Postgraduate in Agriculture or Allied Sectors (Horticulture, Veterinary & Animal Science, Fisheries, Sericulture) with computer skills (minimum six months computer training certificate).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of field experience in agriculture-related activities.
- Alternative Qualification: Agriculture graduates with at least 5 years’ experience working as Assistant Technology Manager (ATM).
2. Assistant Technology Manager (ATM)
- Qualification: Graduate or Postgraduate in Agriculture or Allied Sectors (Horticulture, Veterinary & Animal Science, Fisheries, Sericulture).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in agriculture-related activities.
3. Computer Programmer (CP)
- Qualification: B.Tech or MCA.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year for B.Tech and 2 years for MCA.
4. Accountant cum Clerk (AC)
- Qualification: Graduate, preferably B.Com.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in a reputed organization.
Age Limits
- Age Limit: Candidates should be below 45 years.
Note: For candidates applying under the alternative qualification for BTM (Agriculture Graduates with 5 years’ experience as ATM), the upper age limit of 45 years does not apply.

| All eligible candidates will be called for an interview for final selection. The call letter for the interview will be sent to the candidate’s registered email. The merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks in academic qualifications and marks obtained in the interview. Final selection will be determined using 70% weightage for academic qualifications and 30% weightage for the interview. For the Computer Programmer post, B.Tech and MCA candidates will be given the same weightage. A computer test may also be conducted for the post, wherever applicable. |
| General Information |
| All candidates must be proficient in Bengali (reading and writing) and must be Indian citizens. Selected candidates will be engaged purely on a contractual basis for a period of six (6) months, subject to periodic performance evaluation, and the engagement will be co-terminus with the project period. Candidates cannot claim permanent employment at any stage. The monthly consolidated remuneration will be paid from the fund under “Support to State Extension Programme for Extension Reforms” under the Sub-Mission on Agricultural Extension (SMAE) of Krishonnati Yojana, as released by the Department of Agriculture & Cooperation, Government of India. The engagement will terminate automatically upon the discontinuation of ATMA in West Bengal. Successful candidates will be considered full-time workers of ATMA and cannot work under any other organization during the engagement period. The authority reserves the right to terminate the engagement at any time if any information provided by the candidate is found to be false or incorrect.
