Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate).
- Must possess ITI (National Trade Certificate) in the relevant trade.
- Must have passed the All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate – NAC) in the relevant trade.
- Qualifications should be obtained from a University/Institute/Examination Board recognized by AICTE or the appropriate State/Central Government statutory authority.
- Candidates holding equivalent qualifications are required to submit an Equivalency Certificate issued by the competent authority.

- Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field is mandatory for all posts.
- Experience must be obtained after acquiring the prescribed qualification.
- The experience period will be calculated as on 23 January 2026.
- Experience should be from a Shipyard, Engineering Company, Government or Semi-Government Company/Establishment.
- Completed Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in the relevant trade will be counted as experience.
- Paid training with remuneration will also be considered as valid experience.
- Experience certificates will be accepted only from companies registered under the Companies Act, 1956 or equivalent foreign companies.
- Currently employed candidates must submit an Appointment/Offer Letter along with the latest Pay Slip or proof of last pay drawn.
- Previously employed candidates must provide an experience certificate clearly mentioning the date of joining and date of relieving.
- Work experience gained through contractors (Proprietary/Partnership Firms) may be accepted, subject to endorsement by the Principal Employer, along with supporting ESI/EPF statements.
Fee Structure
- Application Fee: ₹700/- for General, OBC, and EWS candidates (non-refundable; bank charges extra, if applicable).
- Fee Exemption: SC/ST candidates are fully exempted from paying the application fee.
- Mode of Payment: Fees must be paid online only through Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, Wallets, or UPI.
- Payment Window: Online payment can be made from 06 January 2026 to 23 January 2026.
- Other Modes: No other mode of payment will be accepted.
- Important Note: Applications will be considered valid only after successful payment of the application fee, except in the case of SC/ST candidates.
Age Limits
- Maximum Age Limit: 35 years (applicants must be born on or after 24 January 1991).
- Age Relaxation for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years for posts reserved for OBC candidates.
- Age Relaxation for SC/ST: 5 years for posts reserved for SC/ST candidates.
- Age Relaxation for Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India guidelines – the period of military service will be deducted from actual age, and 3 years will be added, subject to a maximum age of 45 years.

| Eligibility & Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply. Company Profile: CSL is a listed Mini Ratna Schedule ‘A’ Company of the Government of India, engaged in hazardous operations. PwBD candidates are not eligible due to safety concerns. Posting & Transfer: Selected candidates may be posted at CSL, its units, or project sites across India or abroad. Transfers between units/projects are possible based on organizational requirements. Appointments may involve work in CSL departments, onboard ships, or other sites. Reservation & Certificates: Government reservation directives apply. EWS candidates must provide a valid Income & Asset Certificate in prescribed format. SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates must submit a valid community certificate issued by a Revenue Authority (Tahsildar or above). Application Guidelines: Only one application per post is allowed. Applicants should apply for one post only, as online exams for multiple posts may be conducted simultaneously. Incomplete applications or multiple submissions will be rejected. Retain a soft copy/printout of the application with the unique registration number for reference. No need to send application printouts, certificates, or fees by post. Submit applications well in advance to avoid last-minute traffic; technical support may not be available after 16:00 hrs on the last date.
