Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has officially released the Apprentices Recruitment 2026 notification (Advt. No. 01/2026) on 6 January 2026. This is a great opportunity for fresh engineering graduates and diploma holders seeking hands-on training in a reputed PSU under the Department of Atomic Energy.
The recruitment is for a total of 248 apprentices, including 200 Graduate Engineer Apprentices and 48 Technician/Diploma Apprentices, for one-year training at ECIL’s Hyderabad facility.

Eligibility Criteria
- For Graduate Engineer Apprentice (GEA):
- Candidates must have completed B.E./B.Tech. in one of the following branches: ECE, CSE/IT, Mechanical, EEE, EIE, Civil, Chemical.
- Degree must be obtained on or after 1st April 2023.
- Degree should be from AICTE-approved colleges or recognized Indian universities.
- For Technician (Diploma) Apprentice (TA):
- Candidates must have completed a 3-year Diploma in the following branches: ECE, CSE/IT, Mechanical, EEE, EIE, Civil, Chemical.
- Diploma must be obtained on or after 1st April 2023.
- General Eligibility:
- Only Indian residents from all over India are eligible to apply.
- All qualifications must be from Indian institutes recognized by the appropriate statutory authority.
- Candidates must register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal: www.nats.education.gov.in.
Fee Structure
- TA/DA: Candidates will not be reimbursed for travel or daily allowances for attending the Document Verification.
Age Limits
- Maximum Age: 25 years as on 31-12-2025.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years (maximum age 30 years)
- OBC (NCL) candidates: 3 years (maximum age 28 years)
- PwD candidates (40% or more disability): 10 years (maximum age 35 years)

| Candidates will be called for original document verification at CLDC-ECIL, Hyderabad based on their online application data. After successful document verification, selection will be made on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. Graduate Engineer Apprentices (GEA): Merit will be based on consolidated B.E./B.Tech. marks. Technician/Diploma Apprentices: Merit will be based on consolidated Diploma marks. In case of CGPA grading, candidates must produce a conversion certificate from CGPA to percentage issued by the respective college/university. The selection process will be purely merit-based and transparent. |

How to Apply
Step 1: Application Fee
- Step 1 – NATS Registration:
- Candidates must first register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal: www.nats.education.gov.in.
- Complete the registration process to obtain the registration number.
- Step 2 – ECIL Online Application:
- After NATS registration, submit the online application on ECIL website: www.ecil.co.in > Careers > Current Job Openings.
- Complete and submit the application before 20/01/2026, 16:30 Hrs.
- Take a printout of the registered application with the system-generated application serial number.
- Keep the application serial number safe for all future correspondence.
- Only applications submitted through ECIL website will be considered.
- Documents Required for Verification:
- Candidates called for document verification must bring originals and photocopies of the following:
- Signed NATS registered application form with recent passport-size photo
