Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: As per NMC norms for posts listed at Sl. No. 1 to 21, in accordance with Gazette Notification No. CG-DL-E-05072025-264399 dated 30.06.2025.
- For Sl. No. 22 to 25, candidates possessing a Master’s Degree or Diploma in the relevant department/unit are desirable. However, MBBS candidates with a minimum of 03 years of work experience in the concerned department/unit are also eligible to apply.
- Experience: Academic qualifications, teaching experience, and research experience shall be as per the latest guidelines issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

- For Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of Document verification & Interview.

| General Information |
| All appointments are purely contractual, and selected candidates will have no right to regularization in the hospital. Private practice of any kind is strictly prohibited for full-time contractual appointees. ESIC reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel the filling of any or all posts at its discretion, without assigning any reason. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification. Hostel or residential accommodation will not be provided. The contractual engagement may be terminated by either party with one month’s prior notice, without assigning any reason. The decision of the Selection Board shall be final, and no correspondence will be entertained thereafter. If suitable candidates from the reserved categories are not available, candidates from other categories may be appointed on a contract basis for less than 45 days against SC/ST/OBC reserved posts, as per Government of India Order No. 36036/3/2018-Estt.(Res.) dated 15.05.2018. Such contracts may be renewed after re-advertisement if reserved candidates remain unavailable. Selection is subject to medical fitness of the candidates. Offers of appointment will be issued strictly as per requirement. Selected candidates must submit a Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque of ₹30,000 (Rupees Thirty Thousand only) in favour of “ESI Fund Account No. 1”, payable at Guwahati, as a security deposit. If a selected candidate resigns or terminates the contract within 09 months from the commencement date, the security deposit of ₹30,000 will be forfeited, irrespective of notice served. Private practice is not permitted at any time during the tenure of contractual service with ESIC. |
