Small Information :

HPCL (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has released a notification for the engagement of Graduate Apprentice Trainees (Engineering) for the year 2026–27 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Engineering graduates in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation streams who have completed their degree after 01-04-2023 with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) are eligible to apply. The apprenticeship period will be one year with a monthly stipend of ₹25,000. The age limit is 18 to 25 years as on 02-03-2026 with relaxation as per government rules. Selection will be based on merit and document verification, and candidates with previous apprenticeship or more than one year work experience are not eligible. Training seats are allotted state-wise across India, and applicants can choose only one preferred state while applying online through the HPCL/NATS portal before the last date.

Eligibility Criteria HPCL Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Candidate must possess a Full-time Engineering Degree (B.E / B.Tech) in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute.

Minimum Marks: 60% aggregate for UR/OBC-NC and 50% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

Only candidates who passed their degree on or after 01-04-2023 are eligible.

Applicant must be registered on the NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) portal.

Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship or have one year or more job experience are not eligible.

Must meet the age limit criteria (18–25 years) as per notification.

Indian Nationals only are eligible to apply.

• Visit the NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) portal.
• Complete Student Registration/Enrollment if you are a new user.
• Log in using your User ID and Password.
• Go to “Apply Against Advertised Vacancies” section.
• Search for “Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) – Graduate Apprentice Trainee.”
• Click on Apply for the HPCL notification.
• Fill in personal, academic, and contact details carefully.

HPCL Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Mode Of Selection

Selection will be based on Academic Merit (percentage of marks obtained in Engineering Degree). No Written Exam / No Interview will be conducted. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification. Final selection is subject to meeting eligibility criteria and verification of original certificates. Medical Fitness as per HPCL standards is mandatory before joining.
