| IIT Madras Junior Engineer Recruitment – Key Instructions Contract Nature All positions are purely contractual. Completion of the contract does not guarantee extension, regularization, or permanency. Eligibility & Application Candidates must be citizens of India. Persons who migrated from Pakistan for permanent settlement or subjects of Nepal require a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India. Applicants must meet all eligibility conditions at the time of application. Admission to any stage of the selection process is provisional, and registration/call for interview does not confirm eligibility. Prescribed qualifications are minimum; higher qualifications do not guarantee selection. Relevant experience gained after the minimum qualifying degree will only be considered.
