1. Trade Apprentice Qualifications
- Fitter (Code 107): Matriculation with a 2-year full-time ITI (Fitter) course recognized by NCVT/SCVT. Pass marks required.
- Electrician (Code 108): Matriculation with a 2-year full-time ITI (Electrician) course recognized by NCVT/SCVT. Pass marks required.
- Electronics Mechanic (Code 109): Matriculation with a 2-year full-time ITI (Electronics Mechanic) course recognized by NCVT/SCVT. Pass marks required.
- Instrument Mechanic (Code 110): Matriculation with a 2-year full-time ITI (Instrument Mechanic) course recognized by NCVT/SCVT. Pass marks required.

4. Data Entry Operator Apprentice
- Fresher (Code 113): Class 12th pass (below graduate).
- Skill Certificate Holders (Code 114): Class 12th pass with a valid ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ skill certificate issued by a recognized authority under NSQF.
Essential Requirements
- Only full-time regular courses from recognized universities/institutes are eligible.
- Part-time, correspondence, or distance learning qualifications are not eligible.
- CGPA/OGPA or Letter Grades must be converted to equivalent percentage as per university norms.
- Lateral entry Diploma candidates are eligible if they meet the required percentage.
- Candidates must be registered with NAPS/NATS with a valid Apprentice Registration/Enrolment Number.
- Must have Aadhaar-linked bank account for DBT, and PAN & Aadhaar card.

| Selection Process for IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 No written test or interview will be conducted for selection. A merit list will be prepared for each post based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification. If two candidates have the same percentage of marks, the older candidate (earlier date of birth) will be given preference. If the date of birth is also the same, the candidate with higher marks in matriculation will be preferred. Preference will be given to candidates applying for apprenticeship training for the first time. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. Candidates must undergo and clear the Pre-engagement medical fitness test to be eligible for engagement. Candidates who successfully complete document verification and medical fitness will be considered suitable for engagement and will be issued an Offer of Engagement for Apprenticeship Training. A maximum amount of up to ₹3,000 will be reimbursed to candidates for expenses incurred during the pre-engagement medical test, upon submission of valid receipts. |

| IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Important Instructions & Guidelines Locations: IndianOil Corporation Limited will engage Technician, Graduate, and Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 at its locations across Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand. Reservation: Applicable as per the prescribed percentage for each State/UT. PwBD Candidates: Government of India guidelines will apply. Reservation for PwBD will be applied on a horizontal basis across all categories. PwBD are not eligible to apply for Discipline Codes 101-111 (Technician and Trade Apprentice – Technical). Candidates must submit a Disability Certificate issued by a competent authority as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017. PwBD candidates must be capable of performing assigned tasks or taking instructions using appropriate aids and appliances. SC/ST/OBC (NCL) Candidates: Those applying for Unreserved (UR) seats will be considered only if they meet the standards applicable to the General category. Application Restrictions: Candidates can apply for only one discipline code. Applications for multiple codes will be rejected. Candidature is provisional and subject to verification of certificates and testimonials.
