Eligibility Criteria
- Engineering/Technology Branches (IT & Metallurgical Engineering):
- Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S., or Integrated M.Tech in the relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in at least one of the degrees.
- Ph.D. Eligibility: Candidates with a Ph.D. after Bachelor’s from institutions of national importance, along with GATE qualification, are also eligible.
- Science & Humanities (Chemistry & Physics):
- Qualifications: Master’s degree with 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) plus NET/JET, or Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016.
- Relaxations:
- 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD candidates.
- Additional 5% relaxation for Ph.D. holders who obtained their Master’s degree before 19 September 1991.
Fee Structure
- EBC (Extremely Backward Classes – Schedule I): ₹600
- SC/ST (Jharkhand only): ₹150
- PwD (with minimum 40% disability): Exempted
