MECON Limited, a premier Miniratna Schedule “A” PSU under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India, has released the MECON Limited Recruitment 2026 notification (Ref. Advt. No: 11.73.4.3/2026/Reg/01 dated 02.02.2026) for the recruitment of experienced professionals on a regular pay scale through online applications only.

Eligibility Criteria
- Junior Engineer (Mechanical):
- Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 16 years post-qualification experience in construction or supervision of projects in the Hydrocarbon industry (process plants, pipelines, refineries, LPG plants, depots, compressor/pumping stations, etc.)
- Alternative: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with NDT Level-2 Certification, along with 16 years’ experience in Hydrocarbon project construction/supervision
- Junior Engineer (Civil):
- Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 16 years post-qualification experience in design or site supervision for building construction or industrial projects
- Alternative: Diploma in Civil Engineering with 16 years’ experience in industrial project construction/supervision, preferably in the Hydrocarbon sector
- Junior Engineer (Electrical):
- Qualification: Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (or combination with Electrical as one branch)
- Experience: Minimum 16 years post-qualification experience in design and construction of electrical works for building, infrastructure, or industrial projects
- Junior Officer (HR):
- Qualification: BBA or Graduate in any discipline
- Experience: Minimum 16 years post-qualification experience across the entire HR function
- Junior Officer (Admin):
- Qualification: BBA or Graduate in any discipline
- Experience: Minimum 16 years post-qualification experience in administrative work
Fee Structure
Candidates belonging to General/OBC (NCL)/EWS categories must pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1000/- online. SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen and internal candidates are exempted from payment of the fee.
