| The MPPSC State Service Examination selection is conducted in three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview. 1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type – Qualifying Nature) Paper I: General Studies – 100 questions, 200 marks, duration: 2 hours Paper II: General Aptitude Test (CSAT) – 80 questions, 200 marks, duration: 2 hours Negative Marking: 1/3 of the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer Candidates who qualify the Preliminary Exam will be eligible to appear for the Main Examination 2. Main Examination (Written Test) Comprises multiple papers covering various subjects as specified in the official notification 3.
