  • First Class Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline OR Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized University/Institute.

General Information 
Before applying, candidates must ensure that they meet all the eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement and provide accurate information in their application. Admission to various stages of the recruitment process will be based on the details furnished in the application. A preliminary scrutiny of applications will be done initially, while detailed verification of eligibility will be carried out only at the final stage of the recruitment process.
Therefore, the candidature of an applicant will remain provisional until detailed scrutiny confirms eligibility in all respects. NIT Warangal (NITW) reserves the right to reject any application at any stage if the candidate is found ineligible. The decision of NITW regarding eligibility will be final.
Issuance of a call letter, permission to appear in the screening/written/trade test, offer of a post, or joining does not imply final acceptance of the candidate’s eligibility or correctness of the information provided in the application. The scheme, pattern, and indicative syllabus of the selection process will be notified separately in due course.
The first stage of selection, i.e., the Computer-Based Test (CBT), will be conducted at Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata centers. NITW reserves the right to not fill any post or to cancel, restrict, modify, or alter the recruitment process without prior notice or reason. Candidates on the waitlist will be offered appointments only if selected candidates fail to join or leave within the validity of the panel, which will be one year from the date of preparation of the select panel or notification of the recruitment, whichever is earlier.
Eligibility criteria, including age and educational qualifications, will be determined as of the last date of receipt of applications. All certificates, diplomas, and degrees must be from a recognized Board, Institute, or University. Candidates of all categories may be considered for unreserved vacancies, provided they meet the criteria. Candidates applying for category-specific vacancies (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS) must belong to the respective category.
The posting of selected candidates will be at the discretion of the competent authority, based on vacancies and institute requirements. Selected candidates will be on probation for one year as per NIT statutes.
New recruits will be governed by the National Pension System (NPS) as notified by the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Candidates who have grades, CGPA, or OGPA must provide equivalent percentage marks as per their university/board norms, supported by a certificate. Failure to provide this will result in disqualification. Appointment is also subject to being medically fit as certified by the competent authority.
In addition to pay and allowances, incumbents will be entitled to:
a) Reimbursement of children’s education allowance as per Central Government rules.
b) Reimbursement of medical expenses, including OP/IP referrals to specialized hospitals for self and dependents.
c) Institute residential accommodation, subject to availability.
d) Leave Travel Concession as per Central Government rules.
e) National Pension Scheme for all direct recruits, except those governed by CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972.
The competent authority and screening committees of NITW reserve the right to set higher standards and parameters for shortlisting, including higher qualifications, desirable experience, or other requirements mentioned in the notification or recruitment rules. Decisions regarding eligibility, selection process, and testing will be final and binding on all candidates.
