Eligibility Criteria
- Science/Natural Resources Posts: Doctoral, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences such as Wildlife Science, Zoology, Ecology, Biodiversity Studies, Marine Sciences/Biology, Environmental Sciences, Geoinformatics, Life Sciences, Agriculture, Forestry, or related disciplines from a recognized university/institute.
- Technology/Engineering Posts: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology including Computer Science, IT, Remote Sensing, GIS, Data Science, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, AI, or related fields.
- Essential Qualifications (as per position):
- Project Scientist II: Ph.D. with 3 years research experience
- Project Associate II: Master’s with experience or 4-year Bachelor’s with experience
- Project Associate I: Master’s or 4-year Bachelor’s degree
- Project Assistant (select roles): Bachelor’s degree or 3-year Diploma in Engineering
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in Human-Wildlife Conflict studies
- Skill in field ecological surveys
- Willingness to reside in remote locations and travel extensively
- Familiarity with data analysis, including R programming and GIS tools
- Good communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
- For specific roles: expertise in spatial modeling, database management, technology deployment, and outreach strategies
- Experience Requirements:
- Project Scientist II: 3 years post-Ph.D. research experience
- Project Associate II: 2 years post-Master’s experience
- Experience is required for senior positions, while junior roles may not require prior experience.
