Eligibility Criteria
- Specialists
(O&G, Pulmonary Medicine, General Medicine, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Radiology, Critical Care)
MBBS along with a Postgraduate Degree / Postgraduate Diploma / DNB in the relevant specialty from a recognized University or Institute
Must be registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC) / State Medical Council (SMC)
Should possess a valid Medical Practitioner License and be enrolled in the State Register or National Register
Super Specialist (Plastic Surgery)
MBBS with DM / MCh / DNB (Super Specialty) / DrNB (Super Specialty) in Plastic Surgery from a recognized University or Institute
Must be registered with MCI / NMC / SMC
Should hold a valid Medical Practitioner License and be enrolled in the State Register or National Register
General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO)
MBBS degree from a recognized University or Institute
Must be registered with MCI / NMC / SMC
Should have a valid Medical Practitioner License and be enrolled in the State Register or National Register
General Duty Medical Officer – Occupational Health (GDMO-OH)

Fee Structure

| Mode Of Selection |
| Selection for engagement will be made through a Walk-in Interview. The walk-in interview will be conducted at the Office of CMO I/C (M&HS), Burnpur Hospital, Burnpur – 713325, Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal. Interviews will commence from 10:00 AM onwards. Reporting Time: Candidates must report between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Registration will be closed after 10:00 AM. In the event of a large number of applicants, the interview process may be extended or staggered to the next working day, subject to candidates reporting as per the scheduled time. Candidates may also send an advance copy of the application in the prescribed format via email to ispcf01@sail.in on or before 19 January 2026, with the subject line: “CONSULTANTS (DOCTORS IN MEDICAL DISCIPLINES) AT SAIL, ISP, BURNPUR”. Candidates selected for engagement will be required to join the assignment as specified in the Offer of Engagement. A discipline-wise and category-wise merit panel will be prepared in a 1:1 ratio and will be utilized in case selected candidates do not join. The merit panel will remain valid for six months from the date of its approval. All original certificates and documents supporting eligibility will be verified only at the time of the walk-in interview.
