| Mode Of Selection |
| The selection is for the post of Spices Extension Trainee (SET) on a purely training basis. This engagement is not a regular appointment and cannot be regularised at any stage. The walk-in test will include a Written Test and a Computer Proficiency Test, both of which will be conducted on the same day at the same venue as specified in Annexure-I. The number of vacancies is provisional and may change at the time of selection. The rank list will remain valid for two years from the date of publication. Candidates selected will be required to undergo training at any office of the Spices Board under the specified region or regional office. If, at any stage, a candidate is found to not meet the eligibility criteria or is discovered to have provided false or incorrect information or concealed material facts, their candidature will be cancelled and, if already engaged, their services will be terminated immediately. The decision of the Spices Board regarding eligibility, conduct of the test, selection procedure, and related matters shall be final and binding, and no correspondence or representations in this regard will be entertained. |

| The selection of Spices Extension Trainees (SET) is exclusively for SC/ST candidates and is offered only as a training engagement, not as a regular employment. Candidates who have not yet obtained their final degree certificate should not appear for the walk-in test. How to Apply
Step 1: Application Fee
- The walk-in test will be held at the centres mentioned in Annexure-I for each respective region. Eligible candidates appearing for the test must duly fill and sign the application form provided as Annexure-II of the notification.
- Candidates are required to bring the following documents to the test venue:
- Passport-size photograph
- Original certificates for:
- Identity proof (Voter ID, Driving Licence, etc.)
- Proof of age
- SC/ST caste certificate
- Educational qualification
- One set of self-attested photocopies of all the above documents
- If there is any discrepancy in the candidate’s name or address, a “one and the same” certificate issued by a competent local government authority must be produced.
- Candidates must report to the respective test centre on 03 February 2026 on or before 11:00 AM, strictly as per the instructions issued by the Spices Board.
