Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be domiciles of Uttarakhand.
- Applicants should have passed 10th (SSC/Matric) and a regular ITI in the relevant trade (COPA or Stenographer/Secretarial Assistant – Hindi) in 2023, 2024, or 2025.
- Only candidates who have successfully completed ITI (regular) in 2023, 2024, or 2025 are eligible. Candidates whose results are pending are not eligible.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on the last date of application submission.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

| Selection of candidates will be based on merit, calculated from the marks obtained in the ITI examination in the relevant trade. In case two or more candidates have the same marks, preference will be given to the candidate with a higher age. No interview will be conducted for the selection of candidates for apprenticeship training. Only candidates who possess all the required qualifications as on the last date of application will be considered. The management reserves the right to modify, reschedule, cancel, or suspend the selection process at any stage without prior notice. |

| Only residents of Uttarakhand are eligible to apply for this apprenticeship training. Age and educational qualifications must be complete as on the last date of application. Candidates whose results are awaited are not eligible. No employment in THDC will be offered after completion of the apprenticeship training. Candidates must arrange their own accommodation and travel to the training locations at Tehri and Koteshwar. Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training in any organization after completing their education are not eligible to apply again. Candidates must ensure that they meet all the required qualifications. If any incorrect information or invalid documents are found at the time of joining or thereafter, their candidature will be cancelled without notice. The number of vacancies may be changed at the discretion of management. Any corrigendum, modification, or updates related to the selection process will be published only in the “Recruitment” section of the THDC website www.thdc.co.in. No separate notifications will be issued in newspapers or other media. Candidates are advised to regularly check the THDC website for updates related to the apprenticeship recruitment. EWS candidates must not belong to SC/ST/OBC-NCL categories and must provide a valid Income and Asset Certificate issued by the competent authority as per prescribed norms. OBC candidates must upload a valid OBC caste certificate and Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate issued by the competent authority in Central Government format for the current year. |
How to Apply
Step 1: Application Fee
- Candidates must first register on the Apprenticeship Portal at www.apprenticeshipindia.org and obtain an enrolment/registration number.
- The registration number generated from the Apprenticeship Portal must be printed and mentioned in the application form. Candidates without a valid registration number will not be considered for engagement as apprentices.
- The prescribed application form must be downloaded from the THDC website www.thdc.co.in.
