Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a board established by law in India or hold an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government. The required educational qualification must be completed at the time of application, and candidates should possess the relevant mark sheets or certificates as proof.
- Candidates who are appearing or awaiting results are not eligible to apply. Applicants are responsible for submitting valid proof regarding the authenticity and equivalency of their educational qualifications, and the decision of the board will be final in this regard.
- In case of a tie in marks, preference will be given to candidates possessing any one of the following additional qualifications:
- “O” Level Computer Certificate from DOEACC/NIELIT
- Two years of service in the Territorial Army
- “B” Certificate from the National Cadet Corps (NCC)
- These additional qualifications are only for tie-breaking preference, do not carry separate marks, and only one such qualification will be considered for preference.

| Offline OMR-based written exam (150 questions, 300 marks, 2 hours). Minimum qualifying marks: UR 30%, EWS/OBC 25%, SC/ST 20%. Qualified candidates appear for Document Verification and Physical Standard Test (qualifying). Physical Efficiency Test: Men – 4.8 km in 25 min, Women – 2.4 km in 14 min. Final selection is based on written marks, reservation rules, medical test, and character verification. |

| The number of vacancies is subject to change, and the recruitment process may be modified or canceled at any stage without assigning any reason. Vertical and horizontal reservations are applicable only to permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh, and reservation for women will be provided as per departmental rules. All caste certificates and documents related to age relaxation must be issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format before the last date; otherwise, the reservation benefit will not be granted. Candidates involved in criminal cases, bigamy, or offenses involving moral turpitude are not eligible for appointment. As per existing rules, physically handicapped candidates are not eligible for police services. Submission of false information or forged documents will result in immediate disqualification, and legal action may also be initiated.
